UPLINK_STATUS: OK
This project lives at the intersection of 3D printing, AI image and video generation, and poor life choices made after midnight.
It started with a simple idea: make cool things. It quickly escalated into calibrating printers for days, arguing with slicers, chasing microscopic stringing artifacts, and discovering that a single loose screw can invalidate weeks of troubleshooting. Physics is involved, but only reluctantly.
On the 3D printing side, this is a never-ending cycle of bed leveling, firmware flashing, Klipper macros, slicer tuning, and watching a printer behave perfectly until it notices you’re watching. First layers are worshipped. Nozzles are distrusted. Filament is dried, blamed, forgiven, and blamed again. Every successful print feels suspicious.
On the AI side, prompts are carefully crafted, ignored, and then reinterpreted into surreal body horror anyway. Cinematic scenes become nightmares. Faces grow extra features. Teeth appear uninvited. Motion is smooth until a single frame ruins everything. The AI is powerful, creative, and deeply committed to doing the opposite of what was requested.
Somehow, these two worlds merge.
AI generates disturbing, surreal, or cinematic imagery. Those images become videos, animations, and sometimes physical objects. Digital hallucinations turn into plastic artifacts that exist in the real world, where they can warp, string, or fail structurally out of spite. What begins as pixels ends as a warm, judgmental Benchy.
This is not a polished lab.
It is a workshop.
A test bench.
A controlled chaos environment.
Expect horror aesthetics, experimental motion, questionable design decisions, and an unhealthy obsession with “just one more tweak.” Expect things to work eventually, after they absolutely refuse to first.
If something looks wrong, unsettling, or slightly unhinged, that’s not a bug.
That’s the process.
Welcome to the overlap of AI imagination and mechanical reality.
Both are temperamental.
Neither forgives mistakes.
